About me
Hello and welcome! I’m Cova — an illustrator based in Madrid, and mom to two curious little ones, Olivia (2) and Martín (1). Alongside them (and our dachshund Pipo), I rediscover the magic of everyday life — and that’s what I pour into my art.
I specialize in whimsical, inclusive illustrations for children — whether it’s prints to brighten their spaces, editorial projects that nurture learning, or playful surface designs for fashion and products. My work is filled with animals, cozy details, and colorful palettes that invite children into joyful, kind, and imaginative worlds.
Rooted in my background in architecture and inspired by motherhood, I believe that every wall, page, or product can be a gentle companion to a child — helping them feel safe, seen, and inspired.
Looking ahead, I dream of collaborating on picture books, murals in schools and community spaces, and museum or brand maps that spark curiosity and wonder.
No matter the project, my mission remains the same:
To create art that feels like a cherished friend on the wall — nurturing imagination, kindness, and connection.
